What does it actually do? Well&#8230; just for fun!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The system captures data from several major <strong>crypto market sites<\/strong> to fetch the latest price list every minute. It then calculates the average values to determine the price. Users can create a new <strong>account<\/strong> and are given a default balance of <strong>$10,000 USD<\/strong> to buy and sell crypto\u2014<strong>but there\u2019s no actual real-market trading.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Thought Process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Suddenly, I started wondering:<br><strong>How can I use this kind of historical data? Can I make a prediction?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, I simply asked <strong>ChatGPT<\/strong> about my idea. I shared the <strong>data structure<\/strong> and inquired about how to perform predictions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ChatGPT first suggested using <strong>Linear Regression<\/strong> for calculations. However, the predicted values had <strong>a large difference<\/strong> compared to the next actual data point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, it introduced me to the <strong>Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method<\/strong> for training under the <strong>TensorFlow<\/strong> library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I fed <strong>514,709 lines<\/strong> of <strong>BTC price data<\/strong> into the training program on a <strong>Raspberry Pi 4B (4GB RAM).<\/strong><br>The first run took <strong>7 hours<\/strong> to complete the model <strong>!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But the result\u2026 um\u2026 \ud83d\ude10<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m currently running the second round of training.
